St. Anthony was a priest who was born in Portugal. Pictures of St. Anthony usually show him carrying the baby Jesus. One day someone stole a book that was very special to St. Anthony. He prayed and prayed for it to be returned. Eventually, his prayers were answered and his book was returned to him. This is one of the reasons why St. Anthony is the patron saint of lost objects. His feast day is on June 13th.
