Saint Rita was born in Italy. From a young age, Saint Rita wanted to be a nun. She had a special devotion to the Passion of Christ. She loved Jesus so much that she prayed to suffer as He did. Her prayers were answered and a wound formed on her forehead as if a thorn had pierced it. The wound remained on her forehead until her death. Saint Rita is the patron saint of fatherhood. Her feast day is May 22. How can we remember the Passion of Jesus?
